Jesus is our Living Hope and we are committed to serving our community and sharing the love of Jesus.
We are a vibrant multicultural church serving the communities of West Bromwich and Sandwell.
We love to be together to worship and love meeting up regularly as friends.
Like any family, there are certain values that we want to mark as a church family. These values are include:
We are anchored in the living hope of Jesus’s resurrection (1 Peter 1:3). This hope sustains us through trials, reminds us of our eternal inheritance, and empowers us to live with confidence and courage. This living hope gives us courage for today and purpose for tomorrow. It shapes how we face disappointment, how we love others, how we make decisions, and how we carry joy and peace into the everyday. Because Jesus lives, we live differently with faith that endures, hope that anchors us, and a boldness to live for something greater than ourselves.
Though we have not seen Him, we love Him (1 Peter 1:8) and that love transforms everything. It’s not just a feeling; it’s a deep devotion to Christ that shapes how we live, worship, and walk together. This love calls us to a grace-filled way of life, where we honour one another, carry each other’s burdens, and build a community marked by kindness, patience, and care. It flows into our conversations, our prayers, our gatherings, and our everyday choices, reflecting the heart of Jesus in how we treat one another. Loving Him leads us to truly love each other.
We are empowered by the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:2), who sanctifies us, strengthens us, and sends us out. He is not distant or passive—He is present and active in every part of our lives. The Spirit equips us to live in holiness, not by striving in our own strength, but by transforming us from the inside out. He enables us to endure trials with joy, walk through challenges with peace, and serve others with the spiritual gifts He freely gives.
Through the Holy Spirit, we minister with boldness, not fear; we walk in obedience, not obligation. He helps us hear God’s voice, follow His leading, and reflect the character of Christ in our words and actions. As carriers of His presence, we are sent into the world to be salt and light; bringing hope, healing, and truth wherever we go.
We are called to proclaim the gospel of salvation (1 Peter 1:10-12), living out God’s redemptive story in our neighbourhoods and to the regions beyond. Every believer is on mission, led by the Spirit, carrying Christ’s love to the world.
At Living Hope and in our wider church family Regions Beyond we want to take the command that Jesus gave us, to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt 28:19) seriously. One of the key ways that we see the disciples following this command throughout the New Testament is in the planting of new churches; establishing gatherings of believers that are then able to reach their communities.
We adhere to the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith
